A brief blog post dedicated to some of Anatoly Karpov’s games played during the last half-decade of the Soviet era.

This blog has already featured many tournaments and matches from the career of the 12th World Champion. In addition, a page has been dedicated to two of his games collections published in the Soviet Union, covering the period 1969-1984. The present page features some games played by Karpov during the final years of the USSR.
